About the position

DFDS Professionals is now looking for dedicated and meticulous operators for our client's modern automated packing line. Do you have a strong work ethic, a willingness for physical work, and enjoy working in a team? Then we may have the right position for you!

As a Packaging Operator, you will have the opportunity to join a team where fast delivery and high quality are the focus. You will work with picking, labeling, and packing office furniture using both semi- and fully automated machines as well as manual packing.

You will be responsible for supplying the line with products to ensure efficient packing. You will prepare boxes, insert products and filling materials, and complete orders. In this role, you will also handle leftover materials and maintain order around the packing line. Other tasks beyond working at the packing line may also occur.

Working hours: We are looking for staff for both day and evening shifts

We are looking for someone with a high degree of personal drive and commitment, with a desire to continuously improve your work. You have a positive attitude towards new tasks and an interest in learning new things, which is why you are eager to ask questions when needed. Since you work in an operation with high-quality demands, you have a meticulous approach to your work and can easily understand and work from written instructions. To ensure your work is correct, you value close collaboration with your colleagues where you have open dialogue and communication. This way, you and your colleagues can help each other and double-check that the work has indeed been done correctly. It comes naturally to you to take responsibility for your tasks and to inform colleagues if something goes wrong. Additionally, it is important for the position to have:

• Completed secondary education
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing
• Forklift license A+B

Previous experience working in a process industry, warehouse work, and production is a merit, but not a requirement. The most important thing is your personal attitude and approach to work.
